For our year 1 Elite class, our career class engaged in an Education Fair training to develop their skills to understand their “best-fit” university. Our students led this Education fair imitating elite schools like Harvard, MIT, and Cambridge to better understand what makes these schools unique with particular questions towards their personal university needs. It is vital that Chinese students make a good impression to admissions officers as admission officers often judge their verbal interactions and write notes at these fairs so they have a better understanding of students before the application process starts. Our Elite class was joyous and prepared as they overwhelmed our “school representatives” in asking specific questions about their future. The future is theirs and building their mindset and knowledge of how to be a top student is first step of becoming a top student.
Career course focuses on the holistic student development of the students in connecting their academic, communicative, and social skills to be a more competitive international student applicant. This process has 4 steps of integrating their academic and communication skills development to outcomes that top university admissions officers want in and need… students with impact and sense of mission in mind!
