4 days; 3 am; 5000 words; once, 4 times, 8 times... These seemingly ordinary numbers portrays our learning journey at the Wharton School.
Once, 4 times, 8 times... These were the numbers of times we participated in the discussion and answered the questions. We grew from shy freshmen to the one who were brave to take the initiative to participate. "We made it!"
The most memorable of these four days is an hour of leisure at the Penn restaurant after class.
Back to the Sheraton Hotel, we turned on the computer and continued to write essays. It was already a habit to close the computer at 3 am. The final 5,000-word article is our growth, the testimony of this journey. We are supposed to keep on working.
This experience has also been used by students in the design of commercials. In the process, it also brought out the potential of our advertising and performance. It will be your most regrettable thing of the year if you don’t watch the video.
If we ask about our biggest gains in these four days. It might light up our hearts and light up the path of pursuing our dreams. Thanks to these four days, everything is meant to be the best.
On the morning of the 17th we went to New York and started another journey of study tour. Columbia University, an American school of magic, is overwhelmingly beautiful; you might hardly imagine what a university without a campus would be like? Yes, New York University NYU is not far from New York's Fifth Avenue. The seniors explained a lot of campus culture and different advantages of professional application. Perhaps the significance of studying is that during the visit, you will be touched by a university. You will find yourself with the temper of this university, you will find that the deepest part of your heart has shaken, you will find that even if you know it is difficult to continue to accelerate.
On the 18th, we flew to Los Angeles. The airport got struck in New York because of storm. We were very lucky and missed that. Everything is meant to tbe the best.
I heard that the day before, L.A. was still under heavy rain. Because of our arrival, the sky laughed. We set off early in the morning to visit USC and UCLA. The seniors answered the questions very carefully, from the score requirements of the application to the postgraduate study, with each detail analyzed. We were even led into a classroom, feeling like we were going to be in UCLA. We were both excited and excited, imagining how we would really study here one day.
After the seniors explained, the dialogues between the students basically were about “I have to study hard”, “This is the place I want to come”, “The time is not enough, I have to work hard”. After the meal we sat on the lawn and thought quietly. At this time, there was a dance battle between students from Penn and UCLA in the open space. The strong academic atmosphere and rich student life make us be more clear about the direction of future, thanks to this journey.
Tomorrow is start of journey in the motor homes. The rare natural scenery also adds a lot to this journey. Everything is meant to tbe the best.
Good morning, Beijing! Good night! L.A.!
